I have a Peerless oil fired boiler with a coil for hot water. The water does not get hot . It only gets hot when the thermostat for thwe heat is turned up. What controlls the hot water ?

Depends
Depends on the control used .... My guess from what you are telling me is that you may have a triple aquastat ... Is there a relay inside that turns on the circulator ? Then it would be the low side... Your problem may be your hot water coil is dirty too ..There was an error rendering this rich post.
