Columbia CEG Boiler help

I have a columbia CEG 150000btu boiler. the auto damper (field 24v GVD) was mounted upside down, thus when my sanitary line started to leak it shorted the damper.
How can I "by-pass" or disconnect the damper to get the heat moving until local supplier gets replacement in since we need heat now?
Thanks
