Restriction to flow through 3/4" copper 90°?

Any info out there as to how many feet of copper tubing is equal to the restriction through one 3/4" 90° elbow?
Thanks, all.
Thanks, all.

3 foot EDL
EDL = equal developed length.

Thanks, Mark.
But where did you get that? The 3/4" thing is important to me right now, but it's probably good to know about other sizes and fittings.Contact John "JohnNY" Cataneo, NYC Master Plumber, Lic 1784

I believe it was the CDA....
Here is something from the engineering tool box.
http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/resistance-equivalent-length-d_192.html
I think the 3 foot factor was based on the median allowable flow in a 3/4" pipe with a tight radius elbow. I suspect that the Engineering Tool Box data is worst case scenario.
I found the CDA Hand Manual on line at http://www.copper.org/publications/pub_list/pdf/copper_tube_handbook.pdf
They call out 2' of pipe length, on page 32, but don't say whether it is long radius or short radius.
So, it is somewhere between 2 and 4 feet. That would be 3 feet :-)

Here is a table
you may find helpful, John. It is from the Copper Tube Handbook put out by the Copper Development Association. It is available on line but a paper copy is a nice thing to have. You may already have one! Being so published, I figure it is not a problem to post a sheet from it for you.
EDIT: Mark already posted it, duh, my bad.
Anyway, for 3/4" wrought copper elbows, I have an even 2 feet. It reflects the standard el we all know, nothing fancy.
For an even more elegant look where this may be exposed, the ACR refrigeration els are very nice indeed and have less than one equivalent foot of pipe for pressure loss. They tend to cost more, but once in a while..'"If you do not know the answer, say, "I do not know the answer", and you will be correct!"
