Pipe Possibly Overpitched - Causing constant problem to Forehead

I don't have the time to go through all the posts, but several pages I went through haven't given me the answer I'm looking for.
From the 2" boiler manifold, there is one run of 1-1/4" pipe (approximately 10FT in length) going directly to a radiator on the 1st Floor.
Was wondering what is minimum allowable pitch to have on this 1-1/4" line because from the 90 deg. elbow coming out of the radiator, the pipe drops another 24" across that 10FT span of pipe, where it connects to the manifold. Seems like this kind of pitch isn't necessary. Can this be raised higher - always bumping forehead on the pipe.

It can be raised
get a professionel in and they can get that pipe up a fair bit pending things like Joists, water lines or gas lines in the way. 1/4" per foot will work for most situations. Insulation would soften the blow to the head and save fuel.Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.
