Does anyone of you have experience with central distribution steam systems? Working with an engineer who is redesigning a campus wide central distribution system that is now wasting all the condensate. He has some questions that I couldn't answer for him and he would love to talk with someone that has worked on such a system.
If interested, contact me directly and I will put the two of you in touch...he is one of the good ones. Very open to suggestions and is willing to alter his point of view if needed.

Central Steam System Condensate Return
Unless the steam piping network is in tunnels with enough space to permit access for maintenance personnel, it's VERY difficult to successfully return condensate. In any system I've seen, the condensate system is/was a maintenance nightmare, and typically gets abandoned.0
