New install - too many cracks?

HI I just got a new radiant heat installed over an area of about 1400 square feet. As the lightweight concrete dried cracks formed (hairline cracks were expected) BUT there are now cracks that form 3' by 4' squares throughout most of the rooms. Some cracks run the whole length of the room and are wider than 1mm.
Do these many cracks effect the structure or function of the radiant heat?
Should it be redone?
Does anyone have a recommendation as to how to repair?
