where do we install the receiver?, the old lit says water line of boiler to water line of receiver?,but have seen pics on this site where it is not.
also do we need to install a hartford loop on this type of system?

perhaps this will help.
look i think at page 5.. this info is from Dan's library section.. http://www.heatinghelp.com/article/163/Older-Steam-Heating-Systems/1363/Broomell-Specifications-from-1924
and if its a gravity return you need to install a hartford loop..if its a pumped return its not required unless the local authority desires it.gwgillplumbingandheating.com
