Anyone ever used one as a hot water loop? About how many BTU can one expect to draw off of a steam boiler , unit is a 3 section oil fired boiler. Seeing that the coil is not fully immersed it would probably be less than a HW boiler coil.... ty,kpc

We use it from time to time
Installed this a month or 2 ago . 2 zones of baseboard off the coil . Also had an indirect for hot water . Sorry about the crappy pics . It was another tight install .
Dan wrote about secondary zones off a steam boiler . I believe you have to work within the pickup factor . 33 to 50 percent of the boiler capacity can go to a secondary zone without running into major issues .....0
