I was able to spend a few hours in Memphis last Friday. What a great place. I need to go back and spend some more time.



I was there due to a family get together in Arkansas. Didn't have much time, so I did the Gibson Guitar Factory tour. Not a reason to go to Memphis, but if you are there it's worth seeing. 45 minute tour. You see the luthiers building hollow and semi-hollow body guitars.



I also had some BBQ at Charles Vergos Rendezvous. Full rack of ribs w/ cole slaw and baked beans...and a beer. Best I've ever had! That is worth the trip.



Now I just need to get back there and spend an evening sampling the live entertainment. The closest I got was a walk past Beale! Next time for sure.
