Cleaning GB142 Fins

There are thick white deposits building up between the fins on the bottoms of the heat exchanger tubes of our GB142 boiler. Is there a cleaning solution that will loosen the deposits without damaging the aluminum of the heat exchanger? Any suggestions about cleaning are appreciated. Fred in Lakewood, CO

Is it a leak or has it not had yearly cleanings?
The owners manual calls for an annual cleaning and a combustion testing. Find a professional familiar with Buderus and they can clean it with mineral oil, this needs to be done according to the manufacturers procedure though.Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.
