Saw James Taylor and Carole King at Mohegan Sun last weekend. This was our anniversary treat to ourselves.
Great show. Great sound. Great seats. They had a rotating stage set up in the middle, so even the nose bleeds were great. We were lucky enough to be in the 11th row.
I just love from both of these artists. James Taylor's seemingly simple songs that have so much life to them. A real guy singing about real things. And Carol has such a depth of material, not just what she performed, but the music that she's written for so many artists over the years. And you'd think she was 28, not 68, the way she rocked that arena. Great stuff.
