source for new oil tank??

source for new oil tank...

I have a 550gal in-ground oil tank which I'm afraid may begin to leak at

any moment .. I'd like to install a 250 or 275gal free standing tank in

my basement ..



Does anyone know where I can get a tank like this in the <strong>NYC</strong> area?



Do plumbing supply houses sell these?



Does it have to be purchased through an Oil Co.?



Does anyone have any websites I can look at to get dimensions for this

size tank?

Roth Tank is not NYC approved

Well I came across a ROTH Double Walled Safety tank .. however, it is not NYC approved according to the manufacturer. If a Double Walled Safety Tank doesn't make it in NYC, I'm worried to think of what will.

Look at

the Granby GreenShield or ZCL Fiberglass tanks. Not sure if they're NYC approved, but it can't hurt to check.

I do notice that they have 10gauge steel tanks which I think what NYC requires.



ZCL Only has distributors in Canada and their offices are closed at this time .. will try them again tomorrow.
