Bryant Steam boiler w/strange gas valve

HVAC003 Member Posts: 10
Has anyone ever seen this gas valve? Attached is pic of gas valve on bryant steam boiler it appears to sense pressure above water line. A soft copper line attachs at gas valve and runs to a connection above water line. Gas valve appears also to be Bryant. It's installed on a 2 pipe vapor system. I wonder if its designed to modulate or stage burner. I am just curious about valve as the boiler is probably going to be replaced

    its a Bryant Pressure tender.

and it modulated the fire based upon the boilers pressure..very cool device..changing the spring changed the pressure it would operate with..Bryant was a brilliant inventor.
