Hi Wallies,
We have a client we're renovating for, and they're requesting a hand washing sink in the dining room controlled by a foot pedal. No problem, however, they are also requesting that the water, when running, come out of the 8' ceiling directly above the sink!? Any ideas? I don't mind converting something but need some ideas.
Thanks in advance, Adam

Kohler ceiling-mount-bath-filler.
Kohler has a ceiling mount bath filler but a tub is a big sloped surface. Filling a sink from the ceiling might be a bit dodgy, This thing was all over the designer shows about three years ago. Ive never seen one in person though.

Solid Stream from 8 feet
That’s going to be a tough one. I have installed a couple of the Kohler tub fillers listed above and they do splash a bit!
But I’m always up for a challenge! I’ll test out a Grohe aerator that has a similar water stream from 8’ and let you know. I’m thinking you may need a large volume like the kohler tub filler to stay in a solid stream.

Thanks
Thanks ChasMan, I thought of that one but it will be too much water volume for a tiny sink. I basically need a mini version of that. I may have to buy a laminar flow "aerator" and somehow braze something together.0
