Header question

My header connects into the equalizer as seen in the picture. There is no place for the excess water to drain off once it enters the header. Should I cut the header and install a tee with another pipe about 1 ft into the header to drain the water that enters the header and return it to the equalizer pipe?
The header curves as a 2 1/2 and becomes a 3 as can be seen in last picture.

Drip line
Where should the drip line from the header be attched to near the boiler?0 -
you have no header
the drip line question is moot point with how the rest of the piping is.Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.
