in Oil Heating
Just installed a new SGO Steam Oil W/M boiler. I have about a 8 second delay in ignition with new Beckett causing an slight bang at ignition. Not sure why haven't done my smoke test yet but the burner is burning ok at the moment.
Any help?

Delay
Most new Becketts have a prepurge of 10-15seconds0 -
delay
That is an oil entry delay, and not, or shouldn't be an ignition delay. What model Beckett is on it? I prefer Carlin EZ-1 on Weils. So much better running and efficiency readings. Always a Beckett man, but on these it's EZ-1 all the way0
