Does anyone out there know if Liberty combustion gas burners (specific model is 225sc if that makes a difference) were ever packaged with a boiler from the start or are they conversion burners on boilers that were once used for oil.
Boiler this burner was on was a Gibralter R30. I guess if anyone knows if this was primarily used for oil, this would also answer my question.
Thanks
Joseph

In the Hydronic Rating Handbook
the Gibraltar R series are listed as oil-fired boilers. So the Liberty burner was a retrofit.
There are some boilers out there that are approved with oil or power gas burners. Here's one, a Solaia with a HeatWise power gas burner. All Steamed Up, Inc.
