Greetings Wallies,  I have a customer who we just installed a Budurus G115 and S-120 indirect water heater for who is just not happy with the job.  He is an older fellow who doesnt comprehend how things work and I have tried and tried to explain to him how the system works.  Does anyone have or know where I can obtain a better explaination of how the system works?  Pics?  Diagrams?  He is complaining his system runs for 6 minutes here, 2 minutes there, and so on.  (only for heating the indirect, not the house zone).  Thanks for any help!!

    Operation

Doesn't the manual tell you how it should be piped? Did you use the Ecomatic control or just the honeywell aquastat? How does the system work in the words you exaplained to him? Just trying to get a better idea of the system.

There was an error rendering this rich post.

    Indirect

Chris-Thanks.  It is piped correctly and is controlled by the Honeywell aquastat.  I was just looking for maybe a better visual aide to help this customer understand how the system  operates.  Its kinda like teaching an ole' dog new tricks.....

    priority control??

Not knowing controls used, I'm guessing :

Tell him that I control is set for DHW priority and when the boiler runs continously until tank is satisfied. Unless boiler reaches its hi-limit of course.

    he may be

not happy with the hot water, or recovery rate of that tank. I tried one, and was not impressed at all. Yanked it out and installed an Amtrol. Customer was very happy, and finally paid for the install.  peace
