CLIFFSIDE PARK, NJ — The Cliffside Park Bureau of Fire Prevention is

hosting a program to offer senior citizens carbon monoxide detectors

free of charge. Seniors living in one or two-family homes are eligible

to receive one carbon monoxide detector per household.













The detectors will be made available for pick up at the office

of the Bureau of Fire Prevention beginning April 1 between the hours of

8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.













The Bureau of Fire Prevention also has smoke detectors available

through the same program.













The office is located in the municipal complex at 525 Palisade

Ave. in Cliffside Park. The telephone number is 201-313-2062.













Carbon monoxide and smoke detectors will be offered on a first
