How do I bleed if fast fill is broken?

Can someone help me. If the fast fill doesn't work. will the air be able to get pushed out of a zone? I came up with an idea because fast fill seems to be broken. Instead of opening hose bib all the way, to open only slighty. Because what seems to be happening when I open on full, is the feeder can't keep up with what's going out and the air isn't leaving or maybe I'm letting in new air?

Fill
Fill it with a hose. Watch the pressure so you don't pop the relief. There was an error rendering this rich post.

Fast fill
I agree ,hook up a hose to the boiler drain vale and let her rip ,under 30 psi that is0 -
Agree in a fix
Connect a double female hose from a domestic water drain cock to the boiler drain to bypass pressure reducing valve .... But if it was my system , I would replace the valve with new ... Less headaches if you do it right I found ....There was an error rendering this rich post.
