Installing new mod cons on old gravity system. It was 2 zones for 3 floors split north and south. Customer wants multiple zones ( very large home). System is reverse return and we wont have problem separating most zones. The question I have is can we split a reverse return zone?

reverse return
As I picture it in my head, two pipe is two pipe...direct or reverse return.

TRV,s and zone everything?0 -
Watch out for the Ghost Flow .... Boo !!!
When you zone a parallel system just remember to connect all branches to a common single supply and return before piping to the multi zone shared supply or returned ..If this makes sense .......... If not you will be scratching you head with a Ghost Flow .... Boo BooThere was an error rendering this rich post.
