Elderly Woman Succumbs To Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

WEISENBERG TWP., Pa. -- The woman's

death is being attributed to carbon monoxide poisoning. WFMZ's Joscelyn

Moes joins us live from Weisenberg Township with more. Firefighters were

called to this home on Claussville Road... because it had filled with

smoke. 90-year-old Mary Werley was home at the time. The Lehigh County

coroner tells us the smoke came... from a faulty furnace. The doors and

windows of 7996 Claussville Road were open for much of the day... in

order to clear out the smoke.
