My home is about 30 years old and is about 2500 sq. ft. It is heated and cooled by a heat pump. My monthly heating bills range in the $500 to $700 range. My a/c bills are around $150 to $250 monthly. Since there is no gas on my street I'm wondering what it would cost to convert to oil or some other source. My wife does laundry daily so I know that's a factor. We keep the heat at 68 during the day and 64 at night. Given the above costs I wonder how long it would take for payback. My wife and I are senior citizens but we plan to stay in this house until they carry us out feet first. I would appreciate a professional getting back to us. You may even call if you wish. Our phone number is 1-781-828-3987. Thanks very much.
