Hot water baseboard

Came across a type of baseboard that  I havent seen before.

It has an upper & lower 3/4 line that goes through heavy gauge element.

Tubing is also heavy gauge, possibly type K.

The house may be from the 30's with big beautiful cast iron hot water radiators.

This area of the house may have been an addition from the late 40's early 50's.

Also it seems that the elements are attatched to the front cover but I cant find any spot welds.

Problem is that there was a leak in the tubing & prvious plumber attempted to replace section & was unsucessful, still leaks.

Existing copper is well aged, very dark in color.

His suggestion was to replace entire basebord in room, app 50',I would attempt another repair.

Would like to know if anyone has come across this type of baseboard.

Dimensions are about 9" high X 2-1/4 deep, with no manufactureers stampings any where.

Thanks in advance.
