A malfunctioning damper on a boiler could have cost three Euclid

residents their lives Sunday evening, Euclid Assistant Fire Chief Frank

Prijatel said.

Euclid firefighters were first called about 9:10

p.m. to a house on the 26900 block of Oriole Ave. because the woman of

the home was sick. They took her to the hospital to find the cause.

You are doing a great service, Dan,

for posting articles on CO poisonings. I never realized such incidents are so common. Thank you.

Aren't automatic vent dampers supposed to be fool proof unless a fool screws around with them?
