San Diego family of 6 Overcome by Carbon Monoxide Fumes

A carbon monoxide leak sent an East County couple and their four

children to a hospital, along with three firefighters who responded to

the family's late-night emergency call.



A resident of a home in

the 1700 block of Outer Drive in Santee called 911 about 11 p.m.

Wednesday after his wife collapsed in a hallway while checking on one of

her children, who woke up crying, city Deputy Fire Chief Richard

Mattick said.
