Recently, I've had to ask several contractors to remove links from the signature lines in their Wall posts to their companies. If you read the rules above, you'll see that I don't allow this and the reason is simple: We have heating professionals who pay a dollar a day to have their ad appear here on this site, and to have their Wall posts link to those ads so that the many building owners who visit here will be able to contact them. To try to circumvent this rule is not only unfair to the guys who play it straight, it's also just plain creepy.



So I ask again, <em>please </em>remove the links to your company and your company name from your signature line unless you're advertising with us.
