Removing main vents

trying to peplace my main vents put they are really stuck on there what is the best way to remove these without breaking any thing

more leverage?

have you tried more leverage? like slipping a 4ft piece of 1-1/4" pipe one the end of your wrench .. no jerking movements, just slow steady pressure. others may have more tricks and tips ..

Removing main vent

If they are rusted, try iodine.  Don't need much, make the joint wet and give it a half hour or so.  It's amazing.
