Water level question

I recently had a Burnham Megasteam 531 boiler installed. The glass tube should be half filled. I released water a number of times to get the tube half filled instead of being filled to the top. The next day each time I do this the tube is filled to the top or near the top. The hydrolevel doesn't show any more water has been added to the boiler. What would cause this extra water to go into the boiler causing the glass tube to be full?

Not familiar with that boiler, but the same applies for any boiler:
1) Tankless coil? leaking?
2) Feeder leaking by?
3) Condensate hanging up in system?
The big three. Check out each one carefully....no other place for the water to come from.0 -
One more thing.....
If recently installed, it is likely the water is dirty and oily, which cause foaming and water to carry into the system. If the water is in the system, it is not in the boiler and the water feeder will kick in. Also, incorrect boiler piping can cause this...hopefully this is not the problem.
