My new Dead Men cap arrived today.

In an appropriate setting for the first wearing in company of their spirits, I took these pictures.....

-Direct radiant heat from coal

-Early boiler for hot water radiators

-Fireman's side in the cab of a steam locomotive

    Industry related?

    Huh?

If you go up to the top left of this web page, there is a section called SHOP.

There you will find this cap.

If you look closely at my pics you will see a steam radiator in the cab of the loco and a pumped hot water system in the RPO car. For heating!  Built by the Dead Men.

Buy a cap, or a T.  People will ask about the logo and you can tell them about the people that designed and built heating systems.
  • Great cap doug! :-),,,

In your middle pic the supply & return piping appears to have been bent to conform,,,,

WOW!,,,, now-that would be another great talent of those guys!!

I`m curious,,,, what size would that be?

    Bent Pipe

I did not have with me the handy pipe caliper available in the same HeatingHelp.com SHOP where the caps can be purchased, but the pipe is around 2 / 2.5 inch.  This is the expansion tank.
  • Thank You doug,,,

Great pics of awesome workmanship! ;-)
