Burner shuts down prematurely

I was hoping for some suggestions to troubleshoot my "old" <strong>Arcoflame American</strong> <strong>Standard</strong> oil burner.
The burner is <strong>not </strong>firing up without hitting the reset button. After I hit the reset button it only runs for approximately 5 mins and shuts down again. Each time I hit the reset the same thing happens.
I would appreciate any help.
