Burner shuts down prematurely

I was hoping for some suggestions to troubleshoot my "old" Arcoflame American Standard oil burner.
The burner is not firing up without hitting the reset button. After I hit the reset button it only runs for approximately 5 mins and shuts down again. Each time I hit the reset the same thing happens.
I would appreciate any help.
Thank you!
Ed
