    condensate neutralizers?

I know alot of guys just use some pvc and some clean outs but i myself perferr using 2 buckets ,one being smaller and fitting inside the larger one ,usually i use a 1/2 gallon and a quart  contaiers ,i use lids on the top of each and drill out a hole through both lids so the 3/4 pvc drain pipe an slide in  ,i also drill a bunch of 3/8 holes in the bottom of the inner container and fill it with marble or limestone chips ,i also fill the bottom of the larger container so the smaller one sits tight in the larger container and does not shift around .i then use a standard 3/4 pvc male adp and a 3/4 pan collar adp (old shool pan adpters )and drill and install in the side of the larger outside bucket. This type of neutralizer set up is good beause you can easy check out if your media has depleated and i usually just let them sit on the floor so the larger buket allows me the height to use a standard height condensate pump with a larger tank ,the shallow ones cycle alot espically if your doing lower temps and have alot of condensate production, you an get these buckets with lids at any hardware or paint store and even a big box place to there pretty cheap with fittings and unions under 25 bucks.Hope this helps peace and good luck clammy

    Thanks Clammy

Found a Burnham #101867-01 Condensate Neutralizer Kit in the Alpine I&O page 37. Perfect for the application!  A Viessmann installer thought their model was too freaking expensive and that the Burnham model did the exact same thing. Neutralize acid. People are digging the Alpine! I'm happy to be back in wholesale! woohoo
