cast iron baseboard ht maximum 8 inches

customer wants to add cast iron baseboard to his new sun room wtih 20 windows max ht of 10 inches. the trim guys want to save at least 2 inches for the trim so ht of basemboard must be 8 inches or less installed.

what brands are out there and what are the hts?

I don't think it is 8" tall though.

I had a similar job last year and couldn't find any cast iron baseboard that was approx. 8" tall.

I think the shortest I could find was 10".

Used stuff

Bauer Bros. salvage in Minneapolis has had this 7'' Weil stuff  in recent past. Probably do not have factory tin work for corners, but I saw some once there. They are  not necessarily cheap but you can bargain..

Mine here at home measures about 7 1/2 inches off floor installed.

9 7/8" is governale and burnham

the only short stuff I know of is used. Some radiator salvage yards have it but it is not that common. what about some nice ornate radiators? Show the heat instead of hiding it!
