I just installed a new AFG burnerm, everything was great but right at the start I notied the blower cage was hitting the motor, I adjusted it to the factory spec and things seemed OK, but there is a buzing that pulsates as its running. My thought is to replace the motor and since it was new ask Beckett to replace it, anyone else had this happen? beckette doesnt seem to be one for bad quality control out of the box, but then again neither did toyota? Thanks

i have never heard a PSC motor hum. Are you sure it's the motor and not the primary?0 -
Did you?
If the cage was hitting, there is a possibilty it was damaged during shipping. That being said the wheel could have gotten damaged and could be out of balance. Also the coupling could be out of wack. As far as the primary goes, is the red button on top or in the front? If it is on the top, you could be getting a noise from the control. I would lean towards the wheel.0
