I posted this quite awhile ago,,, but here`s a slightly different commentary.

I WAS there, and remember the take-off ramp well as I almost toasted a clutch seeing how far I could crawl-up it., (in my 68 Torino) .:-)

There were no locked gates leading up to it,, so any fool trying to impress his lady(me), could act a fool!  :-)



This was about 30 miles east of my present locale.

    Some others to remember

    Are "Bullet Baily" and "Benny the Bomb" These can be You Tubed too. They were classic entertainment at the race tracks
