Boiler Replacement

Hello, I am new to this so any answers will help. I own a boiler that when I just did the tuneup to it, it looks like the block on the boiler is starting to rot out? The boiler is a Hydrotherm Oil/Steam Boiler. The boiler is probably 30 years old. My oil company told me that it may or may not make it this winter. I live in Northern NJ. The system for now is working but, I am looking for anyone who know can recommend a steam specialist as I am now worried my boiler may crap out. I received a estimate from my company for a Burnham mega steam 288 but am looking to get a few more quotes to see if the price quoted is good. I tried using the search here but came up with no results.

did you search by state rather than zip?
if you didn't try to search by state, do so...zip code doesn't always return good results.1-pipe Homeowner - Queens, NYC

Steam Pro In New Jersey
Hi - As JPF mentioned go to Find a Professional and scroll down to "States" and look under your state. There are a few pros for New Jersey listed there The zip code function has new software and still has a few "bugs". Another very good steam pro who I believe is in northern New Jersey, is "Clammy". He does really excellent work. You can contact him at this link : http://www.heatinghelp.com/forum/profile/592/clammy
Here's an article you might want to take a look at about replacing your boiler. http://www.heatinghelp.com/article/11/Hot-Tech-Tips/234/Replacing-Your-Old-Steam-Boiler
The Burnham megasteam is good choice as it's about the most efficient steam boiler using oil. You don't want to base your decision on just who gives you the lowest bid. Far more important than the boiler, is the steam expertise of the fellow who is doing the installation as this can cost you big time (for years) if it isn't installed properly. There is far more to a good efficient steam installation than than just hooking up a couple of pipes. A good quote to keep in mind is "All steam pros are good plumbers, but very few plumbers are good steam pros!"
