I spotted this at the Homebuilders show today. Haven't had a chance to check it out up close yet. Looks like the case is the generator, magnets surround the shroud. The inner wheel is like a big bicycle wheel with fins on thew spokes. 4 mph start up speed.



A micro processor reads the wind speed and direction and furls the blades in excessive wind conditions. Looks like about a 2.5 KW output. Cool looking.
