Boiler Pressure Valve...releiving

We have a hydronic boiler system in our 100 yr old house.  The boiler looks to be ~10-20 yrs old and is functioning well except for the pressure relief valve.

Last winter I noticed that the valve would be leaking at times, so I replaced it with one from a local heating company that matched the psi and was a replacement.

This winter I've noticed the same amount of water on the floor of the basement, but also noticed that during normal operation the boiler is ~20psi, and when it's hot is almost 30psi and this is when it relieves.  When I knock on the expansion tank it sounds like it's pretty empty.

I figured I'd leave the valve until the summer, but tonight it let out a lot more water than before, so I quickly shut off the boiler and closed the supply valve.
