Hi I jut had some work done to a zone, and it looks like my pressure keeps rising. I am goig to rebuld or replace the boiler feed vakve, and I adjusted it this morning to a lower setting, but it still seems to creep back up.
The only other thing i can think of is the extrol air bladder tank is bad, but it seemed fine before the work was done.
Any ideas what to check to troubleshot this

Try...
turning the make up water to the boiler OFF (temporary). If the pressure stabilizes, you have a bad pressure reducing valve. If it continues to rise when the boiler is not firing, you have a failed DHW coil allowing high pressure water to migrate to the low pressure side of the system.
If it only rises while the boiler is firing, your expansion tank is water logged.
Don't forget to turn the make up back on.
