water pressure issue.... OT

A bit off topic I know...

I have a customer who lives in a condo project of good size, 100+ units. The problem that is w/ this whole area is poor water pressure. There is no room to put a conventional water pressure tank and pump to boost it...in each unit. The condo assoc. does not want to spend the $$$ to upgrade. Is there a smaller set up that could do the job for each unit ?

Over in in Europe I have heard of pump installed at the showers that are flow rate triggered....I realize that a pump w/o the proper controls and tank can be dangerous.... any thoughts?

    low water pressure

check out groundfos MQ3 pressure boosting pump no tank needed 115v or 230v.

goulds pumps makes a pump called aquaboost II that is a constant pressure pump. lets say you set the goulds aquaboost II pump at 60 psi the pump will keep the water pressure at 60 psi no matter how many faucets you have running in the house. 230v only better than the groundfos but more expensive. email me if you want pricing eckrobert@rcn.com
