boiler swap

in THE MAIN WALL
replacing a 1,000,000 btu boiler with 3 wall hung units.The old boiler has only 1 isolation valve on the return line but none on the supply.Any tricks on getting a new isolation valve on the supply with out draining or freezing the 2'' black iron pipe

    test water

    Have you tested the water in the system? Maybe you want to change it. You can use a simple ph strip. If you are in a freezing area you may want to put antifreeze in anyway. New water can't hurt in a one time change.
