    GB142

We're in our third year of GB142 ownership.  Although their aluminum heat exchangers have been the subject of much fear and loathing, I clean ours by-the-book every year and have seen no sign of disabling corrosion.  A hot surface ignitor has been the only component replaced so far.  As a Ford/Chevy guy, it hurts to pay Mercedes prices for replacement parts; do the domestic mod-con boilers use less costly components?

I installed this exact boiler in a commercia building in downtown Philly.

How nice it that primary, secondary, pre-piped unit? That one component saved big bucks and lots of time.

I think they need to do an upgrade on the wiring connection area, make it more USA friendly.

I used to own a Bang & Olufsen stereo system with a black panel that slid out just like the control section of this boiler. It is a shame this could not be installed in the living room of the house.

There was an error rendering this rich post.
