Trane XR85 oil boiler opinions

First I'd like to thank all the posters on this site.
I'm looking to replace my Trianco steel boiler with a newer-style 3-pass oil boiler. A local distributor/trane dealer is discounting the trane XR85 with riello burner for about $600 less than either the Burnham MPO or Burderus G115, and even about $400 lower than a comparable Biasi. Hmmm, $400 would pay for a buffer tank..........
I know its a re-branded Ferroli, low mass, on the low end of the seasonal eff. scale. I've also heard Trane is getting out of the boiler market. I'm not really that married to the low mass idea. I've got a lot of smaller baseboard zones, so I think it would lead to short cycling, hence my buffer tank questions in the other posts.
Any help/opinions would be greatly appreciated.
