Zone Piping Question

I have a zone (2 bed rooms) that have a total of 12k , (7 in one and 5 in the other), heat loss. I was going to pipe them as a continuous loop. Then I got thinking if it would be better to run a supply and T it to each room and then have them come back to a common return. My primary piping will be 1".and the secondary 3/4", do I need to run1" to the T's or will 3/4 be OK. Or should I just go with a continuous piping. Thanks

Small Loop
Such a small loop , I would make it simple With one loop... Large loops you tee at the end and loop back .. Doing it your way will work fine if you do it right. All you need 1/2 pipe for 12K, but you need to create a pressure drop to produce flow in the base board loops. I would use a 3/4 " supply with 1/2" risers, either use a vanturi tee or 3/4x1/2x1/2 tees, spaced the distance of the radiation ...Then you need to add a purge valve per loop or all pipes pitch to a bleeder... Me if it were me I would use panel radiators on this set up .. Take a lookThere was an error rendering this rich post.
