Burnham MinuteMan Induction Fan Motor

Member Posts: 1
Called to a customers house out here in Flagstaff, Az to service a Burnham Minuteman Boiler which wouldn't start. Traced problem to induction fan motor, a Fasco OEM unit that is no longer available. Burnham says boiler is 18 years old, and out of production as is the motor. (This is not a Minuteman2) Am trying to avoid condemning the boiler for lack of a new motor. Checked Grainger, Burke, Johnstone, and the other suspects for replacement. Hoping to find one collecting dust on someone's shelf. Any thoughts for finding a new unit?

Well you tried....
.... But don't you think the home owner will go elsewhere while your trying to help them. They must be getting bone chilling cold by now ??? Just thinking about you getting stuck with one on your self when they have a new unit installed by someone else.. Just thinkingThere was an error rendering this rich post.
