This may be a stupid question, but here goes... In building a menorah arrangement ( for venting), does it make a difference if I have a 90degree elbow at each end, as compared to a tee at both ends ( capped with a plug)??
your advice has always been very helpful, and have read all of dan's book.. but still quite a novice.

Yes, ending with elbows is fine! The idea of using a tee on the end was it just made it easier if you wanted to add more future venting.

the t's have it ..
i just added more venting to my mains .. and I was very glad that I had T's on the antler for exactly that reason .. to add and remove easily. if you are asking about the mechanics of steam facing resistance etc in it's encounter with a T vs an L .. i'm sure there is a difference, and I'm sure there's a dead man table for the differences .. but it really won't change the system in a measureable way.1-pipe Homeowner - Queens, NYC
