adding vents

I read the benefits to adding better/more vents to a system. Are there consequences to adding too many vents to the end of my main (in my case a vapor system) or are more vents always merrier?
For my purposes, I have 1 Gorton #2, will 2 or 3 make it better or at least not hurt?
TIA,
Al

what size of pipe are they on?
I actually just got the venting book Dan has availible. It is a great read and the funds go to charity. So its a win win. I like having actual numbers for the vents as tested in the real world. it explains clearly how if you put multi vents on small pipe it is still a small pipe venting. SO does it hurt? No but it can be a waste of money. The cost of an extra vent is far more than the book.
