I have found a 80,000 btu water boiler , its used, National US brand, its set up on natural gas now ; my questions are I want to heat a 30-50 well insualted steel building shop with 14 ft ceilings, the tubes are in the floor, will this unit be able to handle this? Also can it be changed to propane easily ? Its just a hobby shop, will only get used full time on weekends, it stays around 40 deg. now ,with no heat and 0 outside ;I would like to keep it at 70 deg. , but around 50 when not in use ; just wondering if I should buy this , Thanks

Heat loss
First do a heat loss calculation on the building and see if the output of the boiler is large enough to heat the building ... Look on line for a free one .. Also find out if you can buy a conversion kit ...There was an error rendering this rich post.
