Heating blueprint symbols

I have a old heating plan/blueprint for my Trane vapor system. I'm not familiar with the symbol for each radiator I highlighted in the picture. It's a circle with a line through it (like a null symbol). Can anyone confirm that it's the EDR for each radiator?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Usually...
Usually that symbol indicates diameter of an object in a blueprint.

TRANE SYMBOLS
In response to your question, yes that is the sq.ft. EDR of each radiator. Had to look in my 1917 Trane "Data for Heating Engineers" booklet to confirm the symbol. I would use Dan's EDR (Every Darn Radiator) book to confirm the actual EDR for each radiator. Good Luck.0 -
it's very likely that ...
what you see is a square with a line through it .. that is a normal symbol for sq ft .. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Square_foot as well Gerry Gill's Balancing Steam download (available through this site shop) if you have it.1-pipe Homeowner - Queens, NYC
