Vaporstat question

Member Posts: 41
My heating guy installed a new Vaporstat module on my boiler. There are two settings. The DIFF setting is at 10 ounces and the MAIN setting is set to 1psi. How exactly do you interpret this setting? I noticed that based on these two settings the boiler turns off at around 0.7psi. I am finding that pressure is a bit too high so I want to turn it down to more like 0.6psi. What setting exactly do I need to adjust? Do I just turn the little screws at the top of the module?

Turn Off Boiler First.
This is to avoid getting burned when you accidently touch something you should not.
You turn the screw at the top of the vaporstat assuming you have the Honeywell unit we all seem to end up with.
1lb is 16oz
10oz differential is subtracted from 1lb of pressure so your cut in is 6oz.
If you increase differential to 12 oz, your cut in will be 4oz.
Try that first.
